We know not every IT services firm works this way. Many find it profitable to propose exceedingly low rates to get their foot in the door, then add extra charges for every small item they can think of, including many that the client thought was, or should be, included in the base price. Others like to pull a bait and switch, introducing a few qualified people to the client during the proposal phase but then replacing them with inexperienced and inexpensive
personnel for the actual project.
We don’t do business that way. It has been our experience that when clients get what they paid for, without surprises or games, those clients will choose to continue working with us, and we both win.
